Membership on the Discipleship Committee is open to any who wish to join. The usual commitment to the committee is for three years. But, we welcome anyone to come and see what it is all about before a commitment to the work of the committee is made. This committee creates and executes many events which promote the themes of discipleship in the parish — hospitality, service, education, and prayer. The events include parish missions, tithing to the poor, educational opportunities, etc. The Discipleship Committee brings parishioners together to celebrate what it means for us to be Disciples of Christ. The Discipleship Committee meets ten times each year on the fourth Sunday of the month at 12:00 pm in the church office conference room. All meetings are open to members of the parish.
